Constant reinvention and forward moving creativity are what define Jim Sonzero as one of the most revered and accomplished directors in advertising.

Renowned for dynamic and innovative commercials for clients as diverse as Levi’s, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Infiniti, Verizon, Dr. Pepper and Coca Cola – he is also one of the world’s most sought after directors in fashion and beauty advertising, creating some of the most memorable moments in the beauty genre with his campaigns for L’Oreal, Maybelline, Pantene and Garnier.

As a narrative storyteller, Sonzero wrote and directed the short film  “War of the Angels” which was showcased at local and international film festivals. Catching the eye of Bob Weinstein led to his next project; the visually groundbreaking horror film “Pulse” starring Kristen Bell.

Sonzero’s latest projects have catapulted him into the world of interactive media. Capcom of Japan enlisted Sonzero to be Cinematics Director for the latest release of “Biohazard” known in the USA as “Resident Evil 5.” One of the most highly anticipated video games in gaming history, it’s been hailed for it’s jaw dropping realistic CG animation and terrifying horror elements. This action-packed blockbuster was hugely successful, selling over 4 million copies worldwide.

With the success of RE5, Jim was enlisted to create cinematics for another blockbuster gaming IP, Killzone 3, for Sony. Guerilla Games is the game developer behind this action-based game which was released February 22nd 2011.

In February 2011, Sonzero launched his own production company, SONZERO FILMS, to produce commercials internationally and domestically and to develop his own content and intellectual properties. SONZERO FILMS currently has two film projects, a video game, an interactive comedy series and a reality show in development.
